5 stars again

Another great week at Ty Bach, in total comfort. As immaculate as ever, still got the powerful shower, underfloor heating and memory foam mattress for catching up on quality sleep. Amazing views to look at while drinking the morning coffee. Recommend Catch 22 Brasserie in Valley, and Red Boat Ice Cream Parlour in Beaumaris. The Holyhead industrial park has got all the shops you need. 13 year old son getting a bit big for the bunk bed, so might have to come back as a couple in a few years time...

The other reviews have covered the cleanliness, the location, and all the luxurious extras that make Ty Bach an excellent choice to stay on Anglesey. We spent October half term here, with windy wet weather and a couple of sunny days - we enjoyed every day, even walking around Holyhead Mountain in the mist and clouds. In a week, we only scratched the surface of what Anglesey has to offer, and are very tempted to scrap going aborad for a summer holiday next year, returning instead to Ty Bach for a fortnight...

total relaxation

a big thanks to chris and gemma for letting lorraine and myself stay at ty bach. the cottage is fitted out to a very high standard, in a modern and contemporary style. the views from the lounge windows on a clear day are stunning. snowdonia was snowcapped and we got some great photos. the walks along the cliffs and headlands are our favourite way to relax and some of the views are as good as anywhere we can think of. the wood/log burner is a great addition and after a day out walking its great to come home to. everything you need is taken care of by chris and gemma and i really can not think of anywhere else that is such good value for money. the weather was not to bad for the time of year and we did come home with a sun tan. so thanks again to chris an gemma, and we hope to return around the same time next year.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay!

My husband and I stayed at Ty Bach for a week before Christmas - it was an absolutely perfect place to be for a relaxing and beautiful week away. Every detail of this property is perfect - the design is so smart and everything you need is there. Underfloor heating, wood burner, great cooking utensils and pots/pans/cutlery etc, even the blinds are unique and perfect for privacy but can be opened up for absolutely beautiful views, the front room to take off your outdoor clothes and shoes/boots, dishwasher, built in bluebooth speakers in the ceiling.. it's just perfect. The space is so warm and cosy, the views are absolutely outstanding, you are close to Holyhead (10 minutes away from shops including Lidl and Tesco Superstore) but there are very few houses around you on this road, so it's very private, secluded and peaceful. It's a bit further to get onto the rest of Anglesey and into Snowdonia, but there are many beautiful places to visit within an hour to an hour and a half drive, and it's the perfect place to come back to for a cosy evening. We spent a few days out in Snowdonia, Llandudno, and Holyhead but on the days with rainy weather, it was so nice to just stay inside to enjoy the accommodation. You are also only a 5 minute walk away from the South Stack Lighthouse - we got to see a beautiful sunset on our last night with the powerful waves crashing up against the rock. It's also a perfect location to walk up Holyhead Mountain. It was a really idyllic place to stay in the beautiful area of North Wales. I can't fault it at all and would return in a second! Chris offers an absolutely outstanding place to stay on Anglesey and I would certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Coastal walks a plenty and luxury at the end of the day.

Thank you Chris & Gemma for our stay at Ty Bach. What a truly wonderful place you have, in the most spectacular of settings. The quality of the cottage, the attention to detail and the little extra touches (biscuits, maps, flasks, binos....even down to dishwasher tablets, and grease proof paper!) are something to be very proud of. The biggest mystery of the week though is your current 4* Welsh rating.....goodness knows what constitutes a 5* if Ty Bach didn't reach it .....we can only assume it must include a butler, valet parking or similar!! The only downside we could find (and we tried VERY hard) was that we had to leave and hand the keys back at the end of the week .....oh, and we missed the choughs!

A Brilliant cottage with great views

We love this cottage its ideal for the 2 of us. The cottage is warm, cosy, comfortable & well equipped . With 3 supermarkets in a 10 minute drive its ldeally situated . Views from the door are amazing the lighthouse is a 5 minute walk away the sunsets are a must to watch . A lovely large bathroom, the bath is deep so you can soak in it, a big walk in shower and plenty of towels . Plenty of space outside a good corner with table and chairs to sit and eat . The decked area at the top is a real suntrap and we sat on the slate bench in a little walled area and had beautiful views. We had a fabulous Sunday lunch at The Black Seal in Trearddur Bay booking a must as its popular .We walked down to South Stack Lighthouse what an adventure . The Snowdon Steam experience was great . All in all we cannot rate this cottage and area highly enough we thoroughly enjoyed our stay .Thanks Chris and Gemma for the loan of your cottage we will be back, looking now at booking for same time next year . I have recommended this cottage to a work colleague and her family and she was so impressed she has booked it .

An absolute dreamboat of a property!!

My husband and I, and our 1 y.o. son, recently stayed at Ty Bach, and all I can say is that it was an absolute pleasure. Chris had made contact prior to our stay, e.g.: post-booking, and confirming the week before arrival, to see if there were any additional requirements. He made the booking process incredibly easy and personal. When you first arrive at the cottage, you are hit by the incredible location, (almost literally) a stones throw from the RSPB bird reserve. Keys are available to pick up from a key safe at the door on arrival, and from there - just wow. This modern, bright and spacious cottage really is a haven in the Anglesey hills, and is surrounded by the most stunning 360 degree landscape, and the interior is incredible. The wood burner is a beautiful focus of the living room, combined with floor to ceiling windows looking out to the sea. There are bluetooth speakers throughout the living area, which allow you to wirelessly play music throughout. The bedrooms are clean and scandi-chic, and the bathroom is like that of a high-end hotel. I really could go on and on about this place, but all I should really say is that if you're looking for a home away from home in Anglesey, this is the place to go. You would be hard pressed to find anywhere else of such exacting standards, in such an idyllic location for the price it is. Wonderful Stay at the Beautiful Ty Bach

My Fiancé & our young child had the most wonderful stay at the beautiful Ty Bach - The pictures on the website do not do justice to how fantastic the view is and indeed the high standard of the property. We spent 3 days in what could have been 3 different seasons (thanks to the great British weather!!) and Ty Bach catered for it all, we went on amazing walks - we had warm days in the garden and cosy nights in front of the fire. We cant wait for our next visit.

I can't recommend Ty Bach highly enough!! The location is stunning, sea views from the kitchen window and snow capped mountains from the lounge. The cottage is finished to such a high standard, is immaculately clean and we wanted for nothing. It is equipped with everything!! The log burner was lovely on a cold night (we couldn't resist lighting it even though the cottage is toasty warm). Will definitely be booking again!!

Ty Bach

We had a really lovely few days in Anglesey staying at Ty Bach. The cottage itself is nicely situated on the road up to South Stack. The RSPB cafe is just 2 mins walk up the road, with the lighthouse only a wee bit further. Holyhead town centre, complete with out of town retail park, is only 5-10 mins drive away. The location is great to relax, chill out and thoroughly enjoy the spectacular scenery nearby. With breathtaking views out of the windows across the coast and the Irish Sea, we were fortunate enough to enjoy a couple of beautiful, sunny winter days, as well as some dramatic, stormy weather (warm and cosy in front of the log burner!). Chris' photos and description are very accurate of what is a lovely, recently built property. The plot itself is spacious and very well kept and things just keep getting better on the interior. The cottage is finished to a very high standard and was immaculately clean upon our arrival. There was some really nice touches too - from some very delicious biscuits to a very helpful welcome pack. Communication with Chris was first class - he was a genuinely nice, helpful guy from the time of booking right through to our return home. Very pleasant and polite and couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We're very happy to recommend Chris and Ty Bach to anyone thinking of enjoying a break in this lovely part of the world :)
